{"id":4917,"date":"2025-12-18T23:11:47","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T16:11:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/na.mahidol.ac.th\/nas2020\/?page_id=4917"},"modified":"2025-12-24T01:21:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-23T18:21:13","slug":"tpcosmoiv","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/na.mahidol.ac.th\/nas2020\/tpcosmoiv\/","title":{"rendered":"TPCosmo IV"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>The Forth Tah Poe School on Cosmology<\/h1>\n<p>at IF Naresuan University<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Tah Poe School &amp; Workshop 4<\/h3>\n<p><strong>\u00a05-11 August 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"-sh\"><strong>Overview :<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"-sh\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The 4th Tah Poe School is organized by\u00a0 Cosmology and Gravity Laboratory (CGL) at the Institute for Fundamental Study (IF), Naresuan University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"-sh\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The main objective of this school is to provide opportunities for students, young physicists and Lecturers in Thailand to meet with experts on cosmology and gravity, and engage with them through lectures and informal discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"-sh\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The school is funded by Naresuan University and National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT).<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"-sh\"><strong>The school consists of three parts.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul class=\"-sh\">\n<li>T<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">he first is a pre-school provided by Thai physicists during 5th \u2013 6th of August in order to prepare the fundamental knowledge on general relativity and cosmology for students before the main lectures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The second is the main lectures on inflationary cosmology, cosmological perturbations and primordial black hole formation which will be delivered by Dr. Nelson J. The online registration starts from 26th June 2017 and will be closed on 30th July 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">However, a registration upon arrival is mandatory for all participants. The registration will be opened on 5th Auguest 2017 for the pre-school and 7th August 2017 for the school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.if.nu.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Invited-letter.pdf\">(Download Invitation Letter)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The registration fee for each group of the participants are the following:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>general participant : 1,500 Baht<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Student : 300 Baht<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The cost for the lunch and breaks during the school is included in the registration fee. The above rate of registration fee is for attending pre-school, school and tutorial class.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The registration fee cannot be reduced even in case of partial attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The duration of the school including the pre-school is from 5th August 2017 to 11th August 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The pre-school will be held in Acadimia room (TA212), The Institute for Fundamental Study, 2nd Floor, Mahadhamaraja (A) Building, Naresuan University.
