วันที่ 1-2 ธันวาคม 2568 มหิดลนครสวรรค์ ให้การต้อนรับคณะนักวิจัยจาก Valuing Voices Project จากมหาวิทยาลัย University of York สหราชอาณาจักร ประกอบด้วย Prof. Robert Marchant (Research Lead), K. Roisin Blackburn (Project Officer), K. Lucy Cheseldine (Training and Resource Development Officer) and K. Karen Glerum-Brooks (Training and Resource Development Officer), University of York โดยมี แพทย์หญิงมนทกานติ์ โอประเสริฐสวัสดิ์ (รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายโครงการจัดตั้งวิทยาเขตนครสวรรค์) รศ.ดร.วีระเดช มีอินเกิด (ผู้ช่วยรองอธิการบดีฝ่ายโครงการจัดตั้งวิทยาเขตนครสวรรค์ ด้านวิจัยและวิเทศสัมพันธ์) ดร.ณัฐฐิญา อัครวิวัฒน์ดำรง (ผู้ช่วยรองอธิการบดีฝ่ายโครงการจัดตั้งวิทยาเขตนครสวรรค์ ด้านการศึกษา) พร้อมด้วยทีมวิจัยที่ได้รับทุนสนับสนุน Mahidol University – University of York Seed Grant ประกอบด้วย ดร.พรพิรัตน์ คันธธาศิริ, ผศ.ดร.สุจิตรา เตโช ดร.ปิยะเทพ อาวะกุล และ ดร.ณพล อนุตตรังกูล เข้าร่วมต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น สำหรับการเดินทางการเยือนในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์สำคัญ ได้แก่ การอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการทางด้านงานวิจัย การประเมินโครงการ การทำงานกับชุมชน และการพัฒนาทักษะการทำวิจัยตามมาตรฐานสากล พบปะและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้กับนักวิจัยของ ม.มหิดล เพื่อทำความเข้าใจลักษณะงานวิจัยเชิงพื้นที่ของประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะงานวิจัยด้านการพัฒนาชุมชนและเกษตรกรรม สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกนักวิจัยมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดลที่มีประสบการณ์ทำงานร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยในสหราชอาณาจักร รวมถึงมหาวิทยาลัยยอร์ค เพื่อใช้ประกอบการวิเคราะห์และจัดทำรายงานภายใต้โครงการ Valuing Voices และ หารือแนวทางการพัฒนาโครงการร่วม โดยมีแผนเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่แปลงงานวิจัย เช่นฟาร์มบัว ในช่วงบ่ายเพื่อทำความเข้าใจบริบทพื้นที่มากขึ้น นับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญของมหิดลนครสวรรค์ ในการต่อยอดสู่ความร่วมมือด้านงานวิจัยเชิงพื้นที่และการพัฒนานโยบายในอนาคต รวมถึงการผลักดันงานวิจัยสู่ระดับนานาชาติ และเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือที่จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาชุมชนและพื้นที่อย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป

Mahidol University Nakhonsawan Campus Welcomes Research Team from the Valuing Voices Project
Strengthening Research Collaboration, Capacity Building, and International Partnerships
Mahidol University Nakhonsawan Campus welcomed a research delegation from the Valuing Voices Project of the University of York, United Kingdom, during their visit on 1–2 December 2025. The delegation comprised Prof. Robert Marchant (Research Lead), Ms. Roisin Blackburn (Project Officer), Ms. Lucy Cheseldine (Training and Resource Development Officer), and Ms. Karen Glerum-Brooks (Training and Resource Development Officer) from the University of York.

Dr. Mondhakan Oprasertsawat (Vice President for Nakhonsawan Campus Project), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weeradej Meeinkirt (Assistant to the Vice President for Research and International Relations), Dr. Nattiya Arkrawiwatdamrong (Assistant to the Vice President for Education) together with the Mahidol University – University of York Seed Grant research team: Dr. Pornpirat Kanthatasiri, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sujitra Techo, Dr. Piyathap Avakul, and Dr. Napol Anuttarangkul. The visit aimed to advance ongoing academic cooperation through several key activities, including: *Capacity-building workshops* ; Training sessions focusing on research methodology, project evaluation, community engagement, and international research standards. *Knowledge exchange with Mahidol researchers* ; Discussions to better understand Thailand’s place-based research landscape, particularly in the areas of community development and agricultural research. *In-depth interviews for the Valuing Voices Project* .; The Project Officer conducted interviews with Mahidol researchers who have experience collaborating with UK institutions, including the University of York. These interviews will contribute to analysis and reporting under the Valuing Voices initiative. *Exploration of future collaborative opportunities*; Meetings to discuss potential joint research activities, followed by field visits to local research sites—such as a lotus research farm—to gain deeper insight into the campus’s community-focused research environment.
The visit marked a significant step for Mahidol University Nakhon Sawan Campus in expanding place-based research collaboration, informing future policy development, and strengthening international networks. It further reinforces the campus’s commitment to advancing impactful research and fostering sustainable community and regional development.
